39 weeks

Sharon at 39 weeks. We took this the other day. I think she is beautiful!!
We had date night. We just went to the Pizza Place in town last night. It was nice just to get out and talk. It will be the last time we do that as acouple, next time it will be a family of three.
I took a picture of our wedding picture.
Until next time take care

Baby Stuff

Sharon has been busy making baby stuff lately. It's soooo cool to watch her take some fabric or yarn and create! She really is amazing!! And she is really modest about it. So here is a bunch of baby stuff. Sharon made the orange and green striped rattle and and friend of her's made the elephant. Not sure about the others.
Sharon made this quilt.
She knitted this little blanket/wrap.
My Mother-in-law and soon to be Grandmother made this really cool needle point.
This quilt is one Sharon did with a quilting bee block online. People did a bunch of the blocks then sent them to her. She sewed them together and now she is putting the backing on.
Sharon just came out and showed me the cover thats NOT quite done yet so I shouldnt have taken a picture of it. Its a cover for a Boppy. Its a  baby holder/ nursing deal.
She has made more stuff but has sent it to some of our friends that just had baby's.

Birthday/Baby shower

Here's a self picture I took yesterday. This is what 40 looks like.
Sharon had a really nice baby shower. They used the Skype deal so Sharon had a party in Long Beach with her Mom and friends there. Sharon had 8 people here. Sounds like they had a lot of fun! We hooked the computer to the TV so it was a big screen so everyone could see. Here's a great picture of Sharon opening gifts.
My Aunt made this great quilt for Wiggles.
Sharon's friend Jen made this quilt and stuffed toy.
 The baby shower cake.
We got lots of really cool baby stuff. Diapers and swaddles and onesies.
I took the men out with me and showed them some of the ranch. So the gals had the house to themselves without guys around. Until next time take care

Wedding Picture

Ok see we had our wedding pictures taken but just never got them printed. Sharon found this place that prints them on canvas. I really like the way it turned out. Sorry the picture is kinda fuzzy.

We have been cleaning up and going through stuff. We found these cross stitches that my Grandmother made for my Dad. It was kinda tough finding them. We will cherish them and display them. They say alot about our life.

Just goofing off here.
Until next time take care.

Snow day

We had a pretty good snow storm blow through last night and lots of wind. So we have some pretty good snow drifts. I took this picture this morning feeding my horses.
I took this one this afternoon. The drift is about three and a half feet tall.

This is our front yard, you can see the lenght of the drift. Sharon's car is kinda trapped next to the house because of the drift.
So we  stayed in today and enjoyed time together.

Great weekend

This is just a quick blog update cause its late and I need to get to bed. But.... We had a GREAT weekend. I entered in my first ranch roping/3 man doctoring in Thermopolis. That was fun. I enter a picked team with a father and son. The other team I was on was a draw team.
Here's a shot of El Gato with a calf on the line.
Then Sunday at the Chariot race's I outrode. After the chariots were done they had a outrider race. Heck yea!!! Any chance to go fast. El Gato and I placed 8th out of eight riders but we had fun.

It was so good to go home to Dubois for a visit. We stayed at my Aunt and Uncles home. They are the best people. On our way home we stopped by and visited Dad and Darwins graves.

30 Weeks

I haven't really felt like blogging. I dont know why. I think just the winter blahhs. I'll have a couple ideas but by the time I get home just don't have the energy.
Here's the baby's crib. I didn't think it was gonna be so HUGE! Its like a really nice peice of furniture. It went together really easy though. We still have it in the living room because not quite sure it will fit in our room yet.

Some of the blankets that we have for the baby. The one on the left is one my grandmother knitted. The other three are from Sharons Quilting/Knitting friends.. We have been getting baby presents from Sharons friends. We just got a cute washing towel/wrap.

I made this bridle today. It's not the best, but it will work good and it's on a bit I don't use that often. And the practice was nice. I'll do better on the next bridle I build.
Here's what I know you have been waiting for Sharon!! I think she looks great!! Just look at the glow she has. She is gonna be the best Mother a child could ever have.

Christmas Day

Our Christmas didn't start out that great. The dogs got us up at 2 am to go potty. Then they got into a fight in the pasture. They came back to the house bloody and covered in snow and ice. Cord the Corgi was the one is  hurt. He has a bite mark on his chest and limping pretty bad on his left front leg. It was 3:30am before we got back to bed. So we have been playing nurse maid to Cord all day. He seems to be better but we will call the vet tomorrow and probaly get him checked out.
Other than the dog issue we had agreat Christmas. We opened presents with my In-laws over Skype. Its how we do Christmas with them since we live so far away.
  Our front yard this morning.
My In-laws got this really cool cantle silver for my saddle. Guess they kinda like me.
My bride and I in front of the tree tonight. Sharon knitted the sweater Im wearing. She also knited a pair of wool socks for me. I tell you what she is a keeper for sure!! She is 26 weeks pregnant now.
Other than the dog deal we had agreat day. We just relaxed and snacked, read and just enjoyed the great life we have with each other. Hope everyone had a safe and happy Christmas.
Until next time take care

Todays fun

I went and helped a friend ride through his cows and then we moved some yearlings. I know it's my day off but I love being horseback and working cows.
Here's where things got a touch interesting. Crossing the frozen creek. I tried leading Gato acrossed but he was really wasn't into it. It took a bit of convincing but with Brian's help Gato came across a much better horse.

If I don't post before Christmas, Please have a Merry Christmas. Be safe.
Until next time take care.

Good Day

Went and help a neighbor sort and ship calves today. We sorted them horseback so much fun that way. When we sort ours we do it afoot cause we just arent set up to use horses that way. I really liked doing it horseback. He had  some calves in that needed DR'ing so we roped and DR'd them. Trotted out and checked his yearlings. I really like my horse El Gato. He is just awesome.
Sharon entered a sweater she knitted in the Make it with Wool competition. She won the state!!!! I am so proud of her!! There is no national competition for her category.
The baby is now at 24 weeks. Sharon is now calling the Jelly Bean, Wiggles. The Bean is now the size of a cantalope.
 Untill next time take care
