30 Weeks

I haven't really felt like blogging. I dont know why. I think just the winter blahhs. I'll have a couple ideas but by the time I get home just don't have the energy.
Here's the baby's crib. I didn't think it was gonna be so HUGE! Its like a really nice peice of furniture. It went together really easy though. We still have it in the living room because not quite sure it will fit in our room yet.

Some of the blankets that we have for the baby. The one on the left is one my grandmother knitted. The other three are from Sharons Quilting/Knitting friends.. We have been getting baby presents from Sharons friends. We just got a cute washing towel/wrap.

I made this bridle today. It's not the best, but it will work good and it's on a bit I don't use that often. And the practice was nice. I'll do better on the next bridle I build.
Here's what I know you have been waiting for Sharon!! I think she looks great!! Just look at the glow she has. She is gonna be the best Mother a child could ever have.
Click on the pictures make them bigger.
Until next time take care.

Hi, Jake. I almose emailed you last week to see if everything was all right. I knew that Sharon's due date was drawing near. So I'm really glad for this update. Sharon looks great. What lovely gifts from your grandmother and Sharon's friends, and what a beautiful cradle. This is going to be one blessed little baby.

That crib looks like it will turn into a bed later, that will be handy! I like the John Deere quilt, very cute! And Sharon is sure looking good, but where is the snow??

Glad to see you back. I like reading your blog but don't comment often. Your wife looks wonderful. I'm sure you both are getting really excited to hold that little one in your arms. Spring is on its was along with your baby! Hang in there!

That's a nice crib, it does look like it could be made into a bed later, like Crystal said.
The quilts are nice too, not to babyish so that they will be practical for a longer time.
The bridle looks good- nice heavy leather, should last forever. I like the buckle and end tips.
We are all waiting for this baby! Do you have names picked out yet?
